Delete a Test Date

Question: How can I delete a specific test date from animal records?

Answer: You can easily delete a test date from all of the animal records it appears on by following the procedure below:

  1. As a precaution, enter SAVE\F in the command line to create a backup file of your DC305 installation.
  2. In the command line, enter CHKFILE\10 to display an Enter Date window (see example in next step).
  3. Enter the test date to delete, then click OK:

    The system confirms the total number of animal records from which the test date was deleted.

TIP: For a test date that is missing (e.g., it did not upload correctly to DC305), it may be necessary to first remove the most recent test day, then load the missing test day and reload the test day you removed. In this case, contact VAS Support for assistance.
