Edit Sire Info

Question: When I click Sire items on my CowCard, I can only view my Sire item information. How can I edit the Sire items?

Answer: By default, editing Sire items is not enabled in DairyComp 305 because sire information usually doesn't change. However, you can use the SETUP window to enable editing:

  1. Enter SETUP in the command line and press Enter to view the SETUP window (see example in the next step).
  2. Go to the Preferences tab, and in the CowCard Sire Click field, select Edit Sire Item.

  3. Click OK in the upper right corner to save your changes.

    You should now be able to edit your Sire items in your CowCards.
