Dairy Information
You can view and edit information about your dairy through the Info window. To open this window, simply enter ALTER\11 in the command line.
The top portion of the window contains basic information about your dairy, such as its name, its Herd ID number, and the date format used by DairyComp.
The Calf Additions section of the window contains values for controlling how new calves are entered and displayed by DairyComp. For example, you can define the next ID numbers assigned to new female or male calves, or check the box that tells DairyComp not to use the EID Manager for male calves.
What is the Set ETDAM to dam ID on ET calves option?
When a calf is born as a result of an embryo transfer breeding, the ETDAM item on the calf is automatically set to the donor ID. The Set ETDAM to dam ID on ET calves option allows you to control whether or not the ETDAM item is added for these calves.
When you're done making your changes, click the OK button to save them and close the window.
