Launch CowVal
To launch the CowVal module, enter COWVAL in the command line.
Alternatively, you can enter COWVAL\F to launch a version of CowVal that uses protein and fat content when formulating Cow Value estimates. This allows Jersey, cross-breed, or mixed-breed herds to account for the value of milk components in addition to the volume of milk the animal will produce.
Once you launch CowVal (using either method), DC305 displays the following menu.

NOTE: You can also run CowVal in unattended mode by entering either COWVAL\G or COWVAL\FG in the command line (depending on whether or not you want to include fat and protein in your estimates). In this case, the CowVal menu will not display, but the system will automatically calculate Cow Value estimates, allowing you to skip directly to running DC305 reports containing the CWVAL and PGVAL items.
